Lapeer West took a pair from the Varsity 4-1 and 7-2 Monday night in Swartz Creek.  The Dragon's bats went cold with the West pitchers allowing only 5 hits in the opener and 4 in the nightcap. 

In the first game Hayley Cruthers had 2 hits and scored the only run of the game for the Dragons. Michaela Krusina knocked Cruthers in on a double hit-n-run play.  Gabby Deering and Meagan Photiou had the other hits for Creek.  Ashlyn Beck pitched the first 5 innings for the Dragons allowing 3 runs with Allie Jo Brookman throwing the final 2 innings giving up 1 run.

In the second game Deering had 2 hits and an RBI. Cruthers had a hit and scored another run.  Ashley Bush also singled and scored the only other run for the Dragons.  Beck and Brookman pitched the first 3 innings allowing 5 of the 7 runs with Photiou finishing the game holding West to 2 runs.

The ladies will be home again hosting Flint Powers Catholic on Thursday night.
